I am a systems neuroscientist studying cortical processing across levels of understanding from neurons to computation to behavior. My doctoral work was in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins where I studied auditory cortex with Xiaoqin Wang. Subsequently, I studied high-level visual cortex in the lab of Jim DiCarlo at MIT. Currently, my goal is to develop experimental tools and analytical techniques for probing recurrent interactions between cortical areas.
